Tough Opening Round of SuperComp Series

Updated: Jun 2

MADISON, Illinois, April 10, 2022 --- Bobby Krug finishes seventh and sixth in the opening round of the SuperComp Series at the Gateway Kartplex behind the wheel of the Global Force Kartsport No. 51 Margay Racing Ignite K3 in the Briggs Senior class. Setup issues hindered the No. 51 early in the day, putting him towards the back of the field in his practice and qualifying efforts. In race trim, Krug ran at Top 3 time but did not have the track position to get higher in the run order.

"Unfortunately, we were unprepared for SuperComp and by the time we figured out the setup, it was too late," Krug said. "On the bright side, we have a lot of time between now and the next race to figure out what we have to do to improve our setup."

Catch the Bobby Krug Racing Team take to the track for the next SuperComp Series race with Global Force Kartsport on June 26th. The practice sessions begin at 9 AM, race sessions at 11 AM and spectating at the Gateway Kartplex is always free.
