Bobby Krug Racing Services (BKRS) is proud to announce that Avery Schwalm will join the team for the 2026 Apex Karting Championships Southeast program, competing in the 206 Senior category. Schwalm’s addition strengthens BKRS’s already formidable 4-cycle lineup for the upcoming winter season.

A familiar face under the BKRS tent, Schwalm brings a wealth of experience and versatility to the team. His racing background spans across multiple disciplines — from sprint tracks to temporary street circuits and high-speed road courses. Among his standout achievements are four victories at the prestigious Quincy Grand Prix and two Ignite Heavy Championships at the Gateway Kartplex. In addition to his on-track success, Schwalm has been a key member of the BKRS operation as a driver coach and mechanic, helping mentor drivers and contribute to the team’s ongoing development and success.
"I’ve spent most of my time racing as an independent, but over the past year or so have been more integrated into the BKRS program and it’s helped me tremendously," Schwalm said. "BKRS has a great amount of knowledge that helps you come to the track with confidence and brings a great team atmosphere that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I look forward to competing on a national stage in Apex and couldn’t do it without BKRS."
“Avery is a proven winner with an incredible depth of experience across nearly every form of karting,” said Bobby Krug, owner of BKRS. “He’s been an asset to our team both on and off the track, and having him join our Apex Southeast lineup adds even more depth and leadership to our 4-cycle program.”
Schwalm’s 2026 campaign will begin at the Apex Karting Championships Southeast opener at NOLA Motorsports Park on December 12–14, 2025, before continuing at North Florida Kart Club in Jacksonville (February 2026) and Atlanta Motorsports Park in Atlanta, GA (March 2026).
With the addition of Schwalm, BKRS continues to expand opportunities for drivers looking to compete in 4-cycle and 2-cycle categories, with additional seats still available for the 2026 season. The team is supporting drivers competing in the Route 66 Sprint Series, CKNA North and CKNA National race events for the 2026 season. Utilizing the highly competitive VLR chassis and Lawson Speed Shop powered Briggs LO206 engines, paired with the team’s mechanical support and driver coaching - the Bobby Krug Racing Services Race Team is a great choice for rookie drivers and experienced veterans.
