Bobby Krug Racing Services (BKRS) is excited to announce Kieran Mays as the team’s newest Junior driver addition for the 2026 season.

A 14-year-old from O’Fallon, Missouri, Mays has made an immediate impact in just two seasons of competition. She has gained experience across multiple disciplines and categories, including Ignite Junior, Briggs Junior, and Ignite 100 Junior. Despite her short time in the sport, her results already reflect a driver with pace, poise, and a rapid learning curve. Mays’ recent accomplishments include a Runner-Up finish in Ignite 100 (2025), 3rd Overall in the Ignite Challenge (2025), 3rd Overall in Briggs Junior (2024), 4 wins (most recently at Daytona International Speedway in the WKA Road Race Series) and 26 podiums.
“Bobby has been a great help to me and my results, and the team has a great spirit that brings a family-like feeling,” said Mays. “Having the support of this team guarantees a promising outcome and experience that compares to no other.”
“I’ve enjoyed coaching Kieran from her early days in karting to now, making the next step in her racing journey,” said Bobby Krug, owner of BKRS. “She has a positive attitude and a real passion to continue improving that shows every time she’s at the track. We’re excited to keep building her foundation and supporting her growth as she moves forward with BKRS.”
Behind the scenes, Mays credits her family as the driving force behind her progress — especially her father, who has played a major role as her mechanic and constant support.
“My family has supported me from the start, especially my dad, who has been the best mechanic in the world,” Mays added. “My parents got me into racing at a young age, and my father has been my mechanic and partner in crime.”
Away from the kart track, Mays is a well-rounded student-athlete. She attends MICDS, where she swims on the varsity team, and she has participated in a wide range of sports, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, track, and floor hockey. When she’s not competing, she enjoys art, music, spending time with friends, sim racing, and watching motorsports — especially Formula 1 and IndyCar.
BKRS looks forward to supporting Kieran Mays throughout the 2026 season as she continues to develop as a driver and competitor within the program.
