Tommy Shereck joins Bobby Krug Racing Services Race Team

Bobby Krug Racing Services is excited to announce Tommy Shereck as a team driver for the VLR-factory supported Bobby Krug Racing Services Race Team for the full Route 66 Sprint Series and Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to run the VLR at the next level with a team like BKRS,” Shereck said. “Bobby has expedited the learning curve involved with karting and has been instrumental in my growth as a racer. I’m excited for the new challenge of running nationally and see my growth as the season progresses.”

Tommy is a third-generation racer and his passion for racing began at an early age, spending his weekends at the dirt track helping wrench on his father’s late model. In 2023, Shereck decided to make the jump into karts, competing in the Ignite Series at the Gateway Kartplex. The following season, the Godfrey native amplified his racing efforts, competing in the Ignite Series, Margay Ignite Challenge Series and various club races across the Midwest - recording multiple podium finishes.

“The team is happy to have Tommy a part of our national program,” Bobby Krug, owner of BKRS, said. “Tommy’s passion and work ethic is second to none within the karting paddock and I’m excited to see how he continues to develop as a driver throughout the 2025 season.”
